Folder Password is a simple script that tries to keep curious eyes from accessing a folder, but by no means makes the folder secure. It will still be very easy to access using all means of services, but at least it might stop wandering kids. At any rate, remember that this script is NOT SECURE and easy to crack. In the future I plan to add a little bit nicer interface (like the one in Make Password), support the Key Chain in Mac OS 9, and move the password to a separate file to make it harder to find.
THIS IS NOT A SECURE SECURITY SYSTEM!!!!! DON'T GET UPSET IF SOMEONE SUBVERTS IT, BECAUSE IT IS *VERY* EASY TO DO!!!!! IT'S NOT MY FAULT IF SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS!!!!!
This is designed to be a folder action script, so just save it as a compiled script and attach it to a folder (there is more documentation that came with your Mac, if you need it).
